[Open Design + Hardware] Hardware Freedom Day 2014

I'm co-organizing a CodeAcross (http://vimeo.com/60114574) event for next
weekend, which coincides with International Open Data Day. One of the best
things about CodeAcross events is that they embrace people who aren't
coders or data visualizers.  I would love to see the same kind of thing
happen on the Arduino annivesary -- events where noobs could get introduced
to how microcontrollers function in our lives or get their feet wet with a
hello-world type project.

It'd be cool if we could use our indivdual networks to get some coordinated
activity like that happening in a few sites around the world.
