[Open Design + Hardware] Open Design School in Matera - Call for scientific coordinator

Dear all,
the city	 of Matera has been appointed European Capital of Culture for 
2019,together with	 Plovdiv	 (Bulgaria). As one of the cornerstones of 
the cultural program of Matera 2019, the Open Design School will be the 
first design school in Europe shaped around the principles of “Open 
Culture,” with a particular emphasis on the role of design as a 
distinctive form of cultural practice in the regeneration processes of 
communities, cities and of society as a whole.

The Matera- Basilicata 2019 Foundation launched the 1st preparatory 
workshop of the Open Design School Matera and is looking for the 
scientific coordinator of the workshop, with broad experience in the 
field of open design and with international networking capacities.

The scientific coordinator will prepare the work program and coordinate 
the first ODS workshop to be held in Matera from September 01st to 
October 21st 2016, as part of the activities of Matera European Capital 
of Culture 2019. A full-time commitment is requested for the scientific 
coordinator along with the obligation of stay in Matera for the whole 
duration of the workshop.

Deadline for submissions: 12:00 pm on 15 June 2016
