Hi Christian,

Thank you for the response and the recommendations. I have definitely heard
of the Fab City project and I think it's brilliant! I would love us to
connect with it somehow, I'll keep posting about our project so hopefully
there will be shared insights.

Moving away from a product in and waste out model and a re-focus on local
supply, data sharing and data flows is something we are looking at with the
project. It certainly makes sense to me about how we think of material
flows and products in the future. Currently half of my research is situated
out of the urban in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, so I'm really
interested in what the Fab Rural would look like or even the Fab Island?
Perhaps another conversation for another time. :)

I do know of Make Works and the great work they do. I've met Fi around
MakLab in Glasgow and at a few other bits and bobs in the past. We're not
in touch, yet.

I'll keep on shamelessly posting links to out research and keep an eye on
Fab Cities.
