I don't know if i can make that conference, though it's very close to me
(Ann Arbor MI) perhaps I should try, but I just wanted to say thanks for
bringing it up. In my opinion, the business model is the thing that is
most holding open source hardware back from scaling the way open software
did and continues to do. It's been one of the major topics of last years
Gathering for Open Science Hardware and I expect will be again this year.
As someone who's trying and failing and trying again to make business
models work in open science hardware, I'd just love more peers + discussion
+ support.
