[Openglam_members] [OpenGLAM_members] next Working Group call - 29 July, 10-11 CET

Hi all

Apologies for missing the call yesterday, my train was delayed and I didn’t make it home in time.

A quick update from New Zealand:

- I am working on the OpenGLAM chapter for a book that Creative Commons Aotearoa New Zealand are producing, which will document the use of CC in New Zealand. When it is finished, I can share it around the group.

- Kenny Whitebloom at the DPLA and myself are working towards the next GIF IT UP challenge, celebrating open collections, which will launch in October

- And I’m coordinating the programme again for the National Digital Forum in Wellington, where important cross-sector discussions about licensing continue to take place. More details here: http://www.ndf.org.nz/conference-programme-1/

Kind regards
Thomasin

Hi guys,
Is there a Google doc for the discussion minutes? I missed part of the discussion in the beginning and would like to take a look.

Oh, didn't realize how tragic my email sounded. That is what happens when I sent emails after just waking up pre-caffiene. :)
I appreciate the sentiment! Sorry to be selfish and not want to disturb my beauty rest for the sake of OpenGLAM. ;-)
On my end...I'm just working on Wikidata with Maarten Dammers on the Sum of All Paintings project and working on a few things on my own end with more selfish means (rebranding my own website, etc).
I was thinking about helping with the OpenGLAM Benchmark Survey, but, it's painfully time consuming and I'm too busy running my own business to try to devote all that free time to it - and every other American I talk to seems to feel the same way.
I think connecting with people in person and via calls would be more of a motivator in general for me, but, now is not the time I suppose!

Given the weather in Italy (40-42°C with 75-85% humidity) I would sacrifice to do the call at any time after dusk to have Sarah... (And cooler [aahhahah] weather...) :D

Grrr...I always thought Doodle automatically used your own time zone when you are logged in..

Guess not!

This meeting is at 2 am my time.

I don't remember the last time I was in a call.

Have fun without me... (Hopefully someday this will no longer be an issue)

Hi all,

Hope you are all having a good summer!
It's time again for our next Working Group call, if we can get a good group of us together that are not on holiday :)

Would be great if you can let me know your availability through the Doodle poll at http://doodle.com/dr55bddigwgk66x3 and I'll see when we can schedule an update call.

Thanks, Lieke
