There's an app called "who@" that can help with this. You download the app, it privately sync's w your contacts. If someone in your network wants an introduction to a contact of yours, you get an email message asking for an introduction. The other person will never know you got the email so if you don't want to provide the introduction it protects you and your contacts. If you do, only you can notify them that you will do the intro. I use it a lot.
