now that i think about it, maybe your need will be more fulfilled by this
ancillary idea we had, which, we presumed, could be built after Cytoscape
Web code was analyzed...

a GUI to enter a node and attributes w/ associated values

working concept: People, Places, or Things?

to begin w/ a very simple (as node>node or node>>attribute w/ ability to
repeat as needed)

have you used taskpaper or google quicksearchbox? i'm pretty sure the
quicksearchbox code is available if useful. with taskpaper, a shortcut popup
translucent window appears and you select what project you will add your
task to... i wonder if we could make it so you basically type out nodes with
keyboard stroke indicators...hmmmm
