I thought you might be interested in the response I received from a
Freedom of Information request about social care spending. The
response gives details of the amount spent by councils on each social
care provider in 2008/09:

I have a similar collection of data about 'Supporting People' (a £1.6
billion programme for housing-related support) that was also released
under FoI (but is not on WDTK). If you would like to know more about
this then please get in touch.
