Might be worth you setting up Google spreadsheet to track this as I'm doing
with the local spending data:

For this one there are several editors, including one person from CLG and
another from LGA, and also Simon from the Guardian, which has made it
relatively easy to keep up to date (maybe you could enlist help from
data.gov.uk).
