Hello all,

Thanks to SIDA (Swedish International Development Agency) there are a
number of extra bursaries available for the Open Knowledge Festival in
Finland this September where we will have a lot of open development
focussed events.

The bursaries can cover reasonable flight, accommodation and ticket
costs for development practitioners and coders from developing
countries who are coming to take part in the Open Development track.

Application form is available at
http://okfestival.org/travel-bursaries/#development and the deadline
is the 8th of August.

Some more details below as well on some of the International Aid
Transparency Initiative related plans for the event,

Tim

IATI at OKFestival in Finland

17th - 22nd September from, bringing together hundreds of people from
the open data and open knowledge community.

On Wednesday, the Open Development track

discussions of open aid data, including IATI, and then on Thursday a
hack-day focussed on IATI data will be taking place, supported by the
Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).

Thursday will also include an IATI Technical Team workshop from 11:30
to 15:30 where we will be working together on the technical roadmap
and to share details of recent progress and future plans:
