latest tool, Foreign Influence Explorer, that allows you to track
lobbyists who represent foreign clients in Washington.

The Foreign Influence

detailed information on their activities reported to the
Department of Justice, under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. It’s
housed under Sunlight’s popular Influence
Explorer<http://organizing.sunlightfoundation.com/page/m/64f58a01/2889c1a2/33dd0989/68086362/723173238/VEsF/>which
aggregates campaign finance, lobbying, contractor misconduct and
federal spending data into one tool.

for an introduction to Foreign Influence Explorer and learn more about the
tool and how it works. *The session will cover basic skills such as
searching for foreign agents, browsing clients, creating customized
downloads, accessing bulk data and finding individualized information on
contacts by foreign agents with government officials, organizations,
conferences and journalists. We will also explore ways to fact check the
data and provide tips and advance functionality for journalists and power
users on how to make the most of Foreign Influence Explorer.
