[OpenSpending] Standardized Fiscal Data and Key Performance Indicators for European Cities

The City Economic and Financial Governance Group (CEFG) has released its proposal for European standardized municipal financial reporting and financial health Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

CEFG members include the cities of Barcelona, Dublin, Hamburg, London, Milan and Vienna as well as Eurostat and EIPA.

The six cities will be joined by other three newcomers in 2016 and a private organization will be providing this standardized framework for all municipalities of Italy and France, with the aim of starting possible financial comparisons across the different EU nations.
