Dear all,
Would it be feasible to prepare comparative information about what works
will enter into the public domain in different countries? And also
explain the complexity (if any) arising from the fact that same work
might be PD in one country and ARR in another? This would be valuable
information on the publicdomain.eu site.
I want to add to Bozena's message that Polish Wikipedians are creating a
biographical list of creators who's works enter the public domain
(unfortunately only in Polish), and Polish digital libraries are
scanning the most important Polish works. We will also soon have a
webpage (in English too) and hope to have an infographic about the PD
ready by the end of the year.
Regarding the Public Domain Works catalogue - have you considered adding
a "add person" option so that additional information could be crowdsourced?
Cheers,
Alek
