Hi everyone,
as some of you might have noticed, the Public Domain Calculators project is
moving forward.
After having converted the Public Domain Calculators into a standalone
library, the next step is to get new calculators.
The goal is to incorporate different public domain calculators into
PublicDomainWorks.net, so that the copyright status of different works can
be determined for a maximum number of jurisdictions.
As you can see from our Flowchart page -
http://publicdomaincalculators.okfn.org/flowcharts/ - Spain, Norway and the
Netherlands already have their own flowcharts, which have yet to be
implemented into a calculator.
We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of python and a basic
understanding of copyright law, who would be willing to contribute to the
implementation of these calculators.
A short introduction on how to convert a flowchart into code is available
at: http://publicdomaincalculators.okfn.org/code/
For more info, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Thank you,
Primavera
