I would like a list of PD movies, and a list of silent movies that are after 1923, and now in the PD, where can I find a good reliables source for Movies, TV and Radio

This would be great, the Communia Association has recently taken over the PDD web site management from NEXA, so maybe this could be a good place to consolidate all information from the various public domain days.
If you guys agree, I could set up a central database with all the info collected from the various jurisdiction - what do you think ?

thanks for sharing this. In this context i was wondering if it would be useful to consolidate the information from the various public domain days in one single place (preferably a simple database that can be queried via a public API)…. /paul

In 2013 te works from all over Europe passing into the public domain are works for which the author died in 1943 will enter into the public domain, except in Spain where the author must have died in 1933. Some examples of authors that entered into the public domain in 2011 in most European countries can be found at <http://publicdomainday.org/node/37/> (http://publicdomainday.org/node/37/) and include Mikhail Bulgakov, Selma Lagerlöf and F. Scott Fitzgerald.

To do this, we must however first locate works from all the member states that enter into the public domain. Preferably from many authors, musicians and film makers. And we need your help!

Since every national copyright law has unfortunately its own quirks, we would very much appreciated the help of volunteer lawyers to make sure that the works that we will select are indeed entering the public domain. We will maintain an updated list of all the works we accumulate in this blogpost:
