Hallo,
wir haben ja auf der STS Conference dieses mal einen Open Science Track,
in dem wir den politisch-ideologischen Aspekten von Openness auf den
Grund gehen wollen. Wir, das sind Katja Mayer von der Uni Wien und ich.
Würde uns sehr freuen, euch da vor Ort zu sehen. Wegen Einreichung
werden wir sehr "open" sein. Da es mehr ein Open Space Konzept ist
(Barcamp Style), werden wir auch Ideen, Diskussionspunkte und generelles
Interesse als ausreichende Einreichung im Vorfeld akzeptieren. Uns geht
es mehr darum möglichst breite Beteiligung zu haben um sich akademisch
(philosophisch, soziologisch, politisch) über das Thema Openness
auszutauschen.
Wenn ihr Fragen habt könnt ihr euch gerne jederzeit direkt bei mir melden.

society studies, and sustainability studies to give presentations. The
conference provides a forum to discuss on a broad variety of topics in
these fields – especially abstracts are encouraged which refer to
aspects of the mentioned conference themes and sessions.

The abstract needs to be submitted online.
It should not exceed 500 words, max. 5 keywords, and the abstract with
authors’ contact details should be submitted by using the online form
<https://conference.aau.at/event/46/call-for-abstracts/submit>
Abstracts and full papers (to be submitted after the conference) will be
published as online-proceedings (ISSN).
Notification on Abstracts: unitl the middle of February 2016

*Poster Session*
We also appreciate proposals for poster presentations.
For submitting a proposal for poster please use the online form
<https://conference.aau.at/event/46/call-for-abstracts/submit>and
indicate poster as your presentation type.
The accepted posters will be presented in an open plenary session, where
every presenter will have about 2-3 Minutes to present his/her poster.
The audience will then have the opportunity to ask questions or engage
in discussions one-on-one.
The STS Conference Graz 2015 is the joint Annual Conference of STS - the
Institute of Science, Technology and Society Studies at
Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt|Vienna|Graz, IFZ - the
Inter-University Research Centre for Technology, Work and Culture and
IAS-STS - the Institute for Advanced Studies on Science, Technology and
