[OK-AT Open Science] Reminder: Einladung zum ONB Labs Symposium und Workshop

Liebe BenutzerInnen, InteressentInnen und FreundInnen der ÖNB Labs!

Wir möchten Sie daran erinnern, dass nächste Woche eine Veranstaltung der ÖNB Labs der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek<https://labs.onb.ac.at/de/>. Sie ist nahezu ausgebucht, deshalb sichern Sie sich bei Interesse rasch noch einen Platz!

Die Veranstaltung teilt sich in zwei Teile - das Symposium und einen Workshop. Der Workshop zum Thema Machine-Learning basierte Technologien am 12.6. (nachmittags, 15:00-18:00 Uhr) und 13.6. (vormittags, 10:00-13:00 Uhr) und dem Labs-Symposium am 13.6. nachmittags (14:30-18:30 Uhr).

Das Symposium ist mit Mahendra Mahey, Projektmanager der BL Labs an der British Library, Sofia Crespo, Gene Kogan, beide Künstler und Programmierer, und einigen weiteren Sprechern hochkarätig besetzt. Es setzt die Präsentation neuer Services der ÖNB Labs und konkreten ÖNB Labs relevanten Projekten, mit digitalen Strategien im Bereich der Kulturdaten in Beziehung. Beim Workshop können TeilnehmerInnen Machine Learning-basierte Techniken erlernen und ausprobieren, um Datensets der ÖNB Labs zu synthetisieren, transferieren und zu remixen. Die Teilnahme ist frei, allerdings ist die TeilnehmerInnenanzahl auf 25 begrenzt. Der Workshop wird in Englisch abgehalten und erstreckt sich über beide Termine. The symposium encompasses an overview of ONB Labs' new services, presentations of specific projects using ONB data, and discussions about digital strategies for cultural data.
