[the-datatank] stuck with unhelpful error

The amount of columns and data from the csv don't match up, this could be
because an incorrect delimiter (,) has been passed, or a corrupt datafile
has been used.

Line number and column position would be useful: both in the php code but
certainly in the csv file
Maybe also a count of columns expected versus found.
Anything else that could help out.

What did I do to produce this:
* resource producing this is hooked up to a google-docs-spreadsheet-csv
* I've edited that spreadheet: added some columns and deleted some others,
and now this

any suggestions?
