*Dear all,
We would like to invite you to participate in the second Open Economics
International Workshop, which would take place on June 11-12, 2013 in
Cambridge, MA.
The aim of the workshop is to build an understanding of the value of open
data and open tools for the Economics profession and the obstacles to
opening up information, as well as the role of greater openness in
broadening understanding of and engagement with Economics among the wider
community including policy-makers and society.
The workshop is a designed to be a small invite-only event with a
round-table format allowing participants to to share and develop ideas

The second workshop will build upon the first event in December
2012<http://openeconomics.net/events/workshop-dec-2012/> and
will explore in more detail the tools and processes for making economics
research data available, taking examples from science and other disciplines
and considering economic data in the context of academic publishing and
open research data management.
