It sounds like fun to me.  BTW, I read about your bike during an 
insomnia driven internet outing.  That's a real bummer man.  
Excellent story though... made me think I'd like to get one as well...
the bit about tea and biscuits made me chuckle. :-)  We don't get that
type of hospistality in the USA. ;(
