[wsfii-discuss] Linux re-claims the Linksys WRT54G v5

Reminded me of something ....
There is a czech home made firmware modification available for ASUS 500g 
(linux based) wifi router which utilizes the USB port at the back of the 
device.
Originally developed for CDMA modems now allows a wide range of mobile 
phones to be plugged in, so if you are looking at
CDMA2WIFI, GPRS2WIFI, EGPRS(EDGE) 2WIFI, UMTS2WIFI  and the like (tested 
on Nokia 6630, 9300, 9500 via DKU2 cable)
cheap and reliable access point this is great.

Hope somebody finds this useful. I myself have a CDMA subscription and 
find it amazing to be able to setup an WIFI hotspot almost anywhere in 
the Czech Republic in few minutes.
