WiFi Internet Access Everywhere
FON, share locally, enjoy globally!
http://www.fon.com

hackers reported to have bouth their 25EU wr54gs v4 (linksys)
which including shipping to italy costed just 50EU

meanwhile, in the FreakNet medialab, developmnet of Netsukuku is
progressing: http://netsukuku.freaknet.org
after several tests and debugging (UML environment simulating multiple
nodes) it can succesfully build automatic routes, share internet
connections (IGS) and - something more than olsrd - resolve names across
a non-hierarchical network of DNS (ANDNA = Abnormal Netsukuku Domain
Name Anarchy).
last but not least, netsukuku now also compiles on openwrt ;)

ciao
