[wsfii-discuss] FCC license exemption in TV bands

Hi All,

bit of news on the spectrum policy agenda.

It looks like the FCC are going to allow low power use of TV bands in
the US after analog switch off in 2009 with some indications that it
will be unlicensed.

This adds alot of weight to similar processes going on in other
countries. 

For instance in the UK OpenSpectrumUK submitted comments to an ofcom
consultation on the same topic (Digital Dividend Review) in May.
