Dear Bjarke and Gregers,

Thank you for supporting this event. I have allready updated list with all organizations who pledged their support on this mailing list. Thnx again to all organizations who are supporting this summit.
Here is list with updated informations:

Acorn Active Media Foundation, CUWiN Foundation, EthosWireless.com, FreeNetworks.org, New America Foundation, FunkFeuer Vienna, Austin Wireless City Project, Less Networks, NYCwireless, CCI (Center for Community Informatics) Loyola College, Ile Sans Fil Montreal Canada, Croatian Wireless Association – HRFreeNet, Guifi.net Spain, Irma-India, HuWiCo Hungary, Skopje Wireless Macedonia, FreiFunk Germany, bureau Federation France Wireless, DIIRWB.NET, WSFII.ORG, Open Spectrum UK, Altred Colombia and many domestic organizations (we also got support from republic agency for telecommunication and other relevant institutions).

The idea of doing summit as part of WSFII looks very good to me (in both directions). Can you drop me some IM contact if you have so we can discuss this little more?

Regards,

Bogdan

  Dear Bogdan Tancic ! :-)

I didn't yet see DIIRWB (Djursland International Institute of Rural Wireless Broadband) on the list of supporting organisations in your newest e-mails, as mentioned by Gregers here below. So I want to express the support of DIIRWB to your organizing of a European Wireless Summit during next year. Please ad "Djursland International Institute of Rural Wireless Broadband" (http://DIIRWB.net) to your support list.

And according to a lot of us on this list what you are about to organize is what we call a WSFII, meaning "a World Summit of Free Information Infrastructures", that is why Gregers also propose to ad WSFII.org to your list and I agree. Try to read the WSFII Memorandum Of Understanding on http://WSFII.org and look around. I would advice you to do your summit as a WSFII to strenghen the young tradition of WSFIIs. The summit can probably generate a greater impact when it is clearly related to all the different movements and organisations around the World who has been involved in past WSFIIs and also might be involved in future WSFIIs at other places, to locally stimulate bridging the broadband gap and empower people who might otherwise be "left behind".

  With Smiles :-)

Hello Bogdan

I think you can add:

DIIRWB.NET

to your list

and if you would like it:

WSFII.ORG
