[annotator-dev] Quick annotate mod

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to build a quick-annotate plugin. Basically what I want to do is
add a way to add an input and a button to the viewer. I've managed to
create the plugin. In general terms, what I'm doing is the following:
- Add the markup items to the viewer
- Clone the first annotation
- Open the editor (with the previously cloned annotation as parameter)
- Change the text of the annotation
- Submit the editor.

I assumed that submitting the editor programmatically would trigger the
same events that it normally does, but for some reason, annotations created
this way are not being stored.

Has anyone tried this before? Or have any idea what general steps should I
follow to accomplish this?

Cheers,
Diego
