That's unlikely to happen. The CoffeeScript is enough lines to warrant
being broken into multiple files and a pure JavaScript version would be
even longer.

It's worth considering whether coffee is a significant barrier to
contribution, but ultimately documentation is severely lacking if reading
the code is a commonplace requirement for understanding how to use
annotator.

Maybe some of you who have taken the time to understand would like to
contribute example code or demonstration apps to make it easier for the
next people who find annotator?
