[ckan-committers] Weekly time spent on CKAN grunt work

Hi all,

I brought this up on today's meeting, but sending it here for those
who were not around.

I had a chat with Rufus last week about the current situation of the
CKAN associaton, how to improve communication between the tech team
and the Steering Group, improve clarity on decision-making,
resourcing, etc.

One particular thing we agreed it would be useful to do is trying to
estimate roughly the amount of time that it "costs" weekly on average
to manage ckan tech work. This would include eg dev meetings,
reviewing pull requests, engaging with contributors on issues or
mailing list, ideas repo, discussions about architecture, etc

This will allow to get a rough idea of the amount of resources needed
for general maintenance that the CKAN association will eventually have
a mechanism for assigning and plan accordingly.

If you have any idea of a) the amount of time that you personally
spend doing this kind of stuff on average per week and/or b) how much
ideally (and realistically) you'd like to have I can combine the
answers and come up with a figure. Otherwise I'll guesstimate myself
:)

Cheers,

Adrià
