[ckan-dev] Removing AlphaPage

Hi all, 

I really like the idea behind AlphaPage, but in practice its a bit awkward: 

1) It tends to lead to very long pages, such as the "B" list on de.ckan.net which happens to contain each data set known from the city of Berlin. This reduces performance a lot. 

2) It doens't apply for non-latin languages, see http://knowledgeforge.net/ckan/trac/ticket/796 (This issue was reported by the folks building datagov.ru, they apparently have real trouble browsing their beta site, all of which is in cyrillic chars, of course). 

While fixing each of those issues individually is possible (1 through sub-pagination, 2 through unicode magic), I think we should just drop AlphaPage for the sake of simplicity.
