I'm a bit embarrassed by this about page, which I wrote when I was
quite new (admittedly replacing a previous one which was worse since
it was incomprehensible). It's also very heavily geared to
thedatahub.org rather than a generic CKAN instance. I've created a
ticket to improve it for v1.9 and assigned it to myself:
