I'd be really keen for you to make github issues for any multilingual
problems you have (or pull requests if you have them) to help us get
things improved.  I think a problem is that as developers we often
just end up using the default language version of the site and
therefore some issues can get through in core.  In extensions i18n
stuff tends to be an afterthought which shouldn't be the case and
currently there are problems with having extensions translated (which
is only part of the issue but an important one)
