[ckan-dev] How to get resources data for a group or tag

With the CKAN API, Is there a way to get the resource data of all resources associated with a group or a tag?

The way I'm doing it is that I request a list of resource ids first and then use the datastore_search_sql and datastore_search endpoints to get the data. I was wondering if there's another way. And if there isn't, do you think it'd make sense to add this behavior as an extension?
