[ckan-dev] Data Proxy not returning special characters.

After reviewing CKAN and the resourceproxy I can see that jsonpdataproxy.appspot.com is used.

However, it does not return special characters such as æøå in the Danish alphabet.

I've tried calling it directly:
http://jsonpdataproxy.appspot.com/?type=csv&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwfs-kbhkort.kk.dk%2Fk101%2Fows%3Fservice%3DWFS%26version%3D1.0.0%26request%3DGetFeature%26typeName%3Dk101%3Asvoemmehaller_mv%26outputFormat%3Dcsv%26SRSNAME%3DEPSG%3A4326
and it also does not return æøå.

Can anyone help, so CKAN can preview æøå correctly?

I've been told that the geoserver returning the result encodes the respond in UTF-8.
