Pleased to hear my solution worked.
Ah yes, ckanext-spatial asks for GeoAlchemy which must pull in
SQLAlchemy, but I don't see how that would override ckan's
pip-requirements.txt, whichever order you did them in. Anyway,
probably not worth pursuing.
