[ckan-dev] Error in updating python-ckan_2.2_amd64.deb

Hi Qifeng,

I'm confused what you've tried. Let me try to get the timeline correctly.

1. You have ckan 2.1 installed from packages on your server.
2. You downloaded python-ckan_2.2_amd64.deb and installed it.
3. It doesn't work.

Did you restart your apache and nginx server after the update?

It is definitely not wise to install one of the build debs. They're
specifically not supposed to be installed on production. They're only there for
testing pre-release. Is it possible for you to uninstall the ckan package
completely (backup your config file) and install the 2.2 package again?
