[ckan-dev] Problem with package_update in background process

Hi All,
A background process that executes at a regular interval to update specific datasets which used to work in CKAN 2.1 is now failing in CKAN 2.2. The error happens at generating url for the resources of the dataset as part of the dataset/package update. 
Has anyone implemented background operation for dataset update that works in CKAN 2.2? Not sure what other objects need to be configured before calling the package_update() action in a background process.
