[ckan-dev] Pdf preview in Chrome and IE

Further to this it appears problems occur with pdf version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x), as files of pdf version 1.5 (Acrobat 6.x) and 1.6 (Acrobat7.x) seem to work OK in Chrome (though IE11 still giving problems not previewing the v1.5 pdf (1.6 worked partially) - shows blank pages and spinning page loading 'cursor').

Has anyone else experienced problems with preview of pdfs with Chrome or IE.

I am using firefox and have had no trouble, but colleagues using chrome reported pdfs previewing with messed up text (chrome) or not loading at all (IE).  I then tried those browsers and got the same result.

Anything we can do to rectify this problem?
