[ckan-dev] Link to URL and Link to API

Hi David 

Thank you for pointing this out.  
Not missing the original visualization, but want to clear-up a question that came from a colleague who had used an earlier version of CKAN. 

The current documentation from http://docs.ckan.org/ still shows the older appearance in screenshots, with two individual button for a URL and API.

Yes, I think this is the change:

which indeed went into CKAN 2.2. I imagine having the separate Link buttons, as well as Upload, was considered confusing. However I think it is v. useful to know if a URL is for download or an API - I believe resource_type was used to store the difference - see:

You're implying you miss this - it would be good to know your reasoning.
