[ckan-dev] CKAN Development Environment

In regards to a post on Jan 19th about ckan-chef<https://github.com/okfn/ckan-chef>, is ckan-chef + vagrant the official development environment?

The reason I ask is that we have the ckan puppet module<https://forge.puppetlabs.com/conzar/ckan> which could also be modified to provide a development environment (along with some modification to the vagrant environment).
