[ckan-dev] Suggesting we use stack overflow

hi everyone,

This list has been quite active over the last few months with CKAN support
questions that I suspect would give a lot of value to people if they were
addressed in a more public technical forum such as here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/ckan

Stack overflow over the same period has probably received less attention as
a result of the activity here (there are a few recent questions unanswered
currently).

Related to this suggestion, I've recently setup an Asia-Pacific CKAN meetup
that will run every two weeks. As we bring new people into the project I'd
like to refer to the dev list as a good place for discussing core
development and extension work while also encouraging people to monitor
stack overflow for supporting users around general install, config, upgrade
and troubleshooting issues.

Does this all sound reasonable? If so then I can update the CKAN.org
website a little, write a blog post and generally help in directing
questions into the best areas.

Cheers,
Steven
