[ckan-dev] Using Init instead of supervisorD to run harvesting

Dear all
For some internal reasons we would like to avoid to use supervisord on our CKAN 2.5.2 running on RHEL.
Due to similarities, we are trying to use RHEL "init" instead, because it seems (please correct me if I am wrong)
supervisord, is a demon done in python that launches a paster process via exec (), and restarts on crash.init is the "supervisor" of the entire operating system that launches a paster process via exec (), and restarts on crash.
We have configured it in our TEST environment, and it seems to work, almost.
Anyone has similar experience? Do you think that could be reliable as it is supervisord?
Thanks!
