[ckan-dev] database connection error if database on a separate server

Unfortunately it didn't solve my problem. It still gives me a server error after a while connecting again (opening whatever page).
Is there anything which needs to be set on the database server ?

Is anyone using an external database or is this not recommended ?

Thank you.

Hilde

We experienced a similar problem in our environment – in our situation adding the following parameter to the sqlalchemy connection string seemed to resolve the issue: “?connect_timeout=30”
