In ckan often the words in a sentence are divided into small units that follow the logic of the english language "order of the words" and this makes it in some occasions difficult to translate. This is kind of an architectural problem within ckan. In the longer term we should find a solution for it.
The problem will be solved with the new release of genshi and babel,
there is proper i18n support, including correct pluralization.
