I just want to add that I had the same problems with the german translation. The problem is that in different languages the "order of the words" is different. In ckan often the words in a sentence are divided into small units that follow the logic of the english language "order of the words" and this makes it in some occasions difficult to translate. This is kind of an architectural problem within ckan. In the longer term we should find a solution for it.
