[ckan-discuss] Options to store cleaned-up data

I have focused on working with a number of US government data spreadsheets with high quality that are updated regularly and would not suggest using blobs of data as alternatives since one looses the ability to do analytics/statistics on those data.

I've spent some time cleaning things up, however departments seem to be very reluctant to updating their records with something infected from the outside world. Do you think that there is any scope for CKAN to hold blobs of data as alternative sources?
