I like this idea, and interesting in thinking about the idea, and
possibly testing results. I will not have time to contribute
development time, though, just giving my thumbs up!

At some point I did some patches on the code to convert CRAN into
Debian packages, and much can indeed be automated. However, making
triples like those from DBPedia automatically install into Virtuoso is
another story :) But it would be very user friendly indeed!
