Hi Erik,

I very much like that proposal, if we can at all do it then let's!
There has also been interest from various sides for doing this on
specific topics (e.g. Jan (CC) for financial information) and within
the parliament there has been some interest to hold a one-day workshop
on the kinds of open data that could be released by it (e.g.
transcripts, amendments etc.)

Rufus and I briefly met one of the organizers at CCCamp and my
understanding was that this would be fairly focussed on net neutrality
(and it also seemed like a bit of a corporate demo show aimed at
officials). So I don't think we should mix these two up too much but
having it close by might give us more people in brussels (like you,
stef).

Links or it didn't happen?

Basically I think we need someone who really knows the Brussels scene
and invite the right people / announce on the right places. If you,
Erik, can do that I'd be very excited to contribute!
