[ckan-discuss] Ckan 2.0: Adding datasets to groups that you are not a part of

Hi Adria, Toby, and Joshua,
So what I'm hearing is the version 2 on the Demo site is older than the beat and current master. So some commit changed something along the way. I can also confirm logged_in has not effect.
Sounds like we probably just need to wait it out until the dev team gets a chance to do an authorization review and clean-up in 2.1 :-).
Thanks for the great information and responses,

Hi Frank,
demo.ckan.org seems to be running a quite old version of ckan. I get the exact behaviour that you are describing in beta.ckan.org and the latest master, so I suspect something has changed on the way.
@Tobes, @David, is there a way under the new auth to allow adding datasets to groups to all users? AFAICT the "logged_in" user has no effect anymore?
Thanks,
Adrià
