[CKAN-support] Public/Private status in CKAN - AW: Our Order No 4524176 - Support CKAN

Hi Robert,

Basic support for public and private datasets was added in CKAN 1.7.
However the feature is quite basic and there are some known issues such as
the issue with data not being fully private via the API that you mention.

This area of has been completely rewritten and is much improved in CKAN 2.0
so we would advise upgrading to CKAN 2.0 if you require full support for
public and private datasets. This will also give you the benefit of all the
other improvements in CKAN 2.0.
