[CKAN-support] South Australia - Issue with creating new datasets [DLM=For-Official-Use-Only]

Hi Peter,

Sorry it's still not working for you and thanks for the screenshots, very
helpful. I've been through the steps as outlined in your doc and it seems
there is a Javascript issue which is causing problems when creating a
dataset in Internet Explorer 7. Because of this the resources are not being
saved fully so the dataset is still in draft status.

Therefore the best thing would be to use another browser (e.g. Firefox or
Google Chrome) to edit and upload datasets in the meantime. You can edit
the draft datasets you've already created in one of these browsers to
add/edit the resources which will then move them into published state. We
will work on a fix for the IE issue and this will be available in the next
maintenance release of CKAN (CKAN 2.1). Which version of IE are you using
there?

The draft datasets you've created are still on the site but aren't visible
to non logged in users. You can see a list of all the datasets you've
created (including drafts) on your user page (click on your username in the
top navigation bar).

I hope this allows you to continue uploading datasets now but please let me
know if there is anything else I can help with.

Best,

Darwin
