Thank you for the quotes. We are still exploring your quotes, and will let you know as soon as possible.
In the meantime, could you please do the following:

·         I had also requested changes to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Australia Licence. © Copyright 2014<http://data.sa.gov.au/copyright> link. The ‘Australia’ should be removed from the link as it is an international licence.

·         We had also requested changes to the copyright statement. Please find the attached copyright statement. Please copy and paste all of it.

·         We have made the payment for the hosting services from February to June 2014. Could you please resend the second invoice for the period of July 2014 to September 2014, not from July to December.

·         Thirdly, we would like to request an on-call support for 11-13 July for 48 hours. South Australian Government will be running a competition for 2 days called Unleashed<http://unleashedadelaide.dptiapps.com.au/>, where participants will be creating apps using data on data.sa.gov.au. Apart from the contact names and email addresses, we will need a phone number that we can contact on in case the site has any issues. This support was provided to us by OKFN last year as part of the service days agreement.

Thank you for bearing with us whilst we spec'd out the development work.

Attached are:

·         Two quotations, covering the (potential) extra development work on (1) listing/emailing users/followers of datasets/organizations, (2), datasets used by Apps/Ideas.

·         An invoice for the existing contract, and a quotation for the period following the existing term.

Regarding Identifying incorrect /outdated links, we recommend the use of the 'QA' extension, (https://github.com/ckan/ckanext-qa) and its prerequisites: this can be covered as part of the support agreement, as it's a relatively straightforward task.

On incorporating real-time data into CKAN, we spoke of two options --

(1) Creating a dataset in CKAN, but specifying the path to the realtime data as a resource, so others may "discover" it;

(2) Using the CKAN harvesting extension (https://github.com/ckan/ckanext-harvest/blob/master/README.rst) and the CKAN Datastore (http://docs.ckan.org/en/latest/maintaining/datastore.html) to fetch and store (and thence provide ckan display tools around).

Option 1 is incredibly simple, option 2 takes a little bit of initial set-up and then custom scripts to be able to import the external data, along with handling errors. We'd need to know more about the data before we could estimate on the time it would take to build such scripts.

Hi guys,

Could you please update me on the status of my requests?

Some of the changes I had requested are very very crucial e.g. changes to copyright statement, and may have legal implications.

Apart from the list mentioned below:

I had also requested changes to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Australia Licence. © Copyright 2014 (http://data.sa.gov.au/copyright) link. The ‘Australia’ should be removed from the link as it is an international licence.

I had also requested the changes to have both CC-BY 4 as well as CC-BY 3 licence options while publishing data, and existing datasets to have CC-BY 3 licenses.

I had also requested the invoice for the current contract, that needs to be paid asap.

I am more than happy to discuss this over the phone, but this is starting to get frustrating.
